Groove Ride was founded by Lisa Booze, a healthcare administrator who spent years watching seniors lose pieces of their independence simply because they couldn't get where they needed to go.
With a background rooted in patient support and compassionate care, Lisa built Groove Ride to fill the gap she saw every day — a transportation service that treats older adults the way they deserve to be treated: with patience, dignity, and a warm, familiar presence behind the wheel.

We serve seniors, older adults, caregivers, and family members who need dependable transportation for errands, appointments, shopping, church, social outings, and daily activities.
Grocery shopping, pharmacy visits, doctor and dental appointments, hair appointments, church, senior centers, family visits, community events, and other everyday needs.
Groove Ride provides non-emergency transportation only. We do not provide ambulance services, emergency medical care, or medical supervision during rides.
Yes. Adult children, caregivers, and family members may request rides for a senior loved one.
No. Groove Ride is designed to be simple and senior-friendly. Riders or family members can request information or schedule rides by phone or through the website.
Yes. Pay-as-you-go rides are available for occasional needs, along with monthly ride plans for customers who need transportation more regularly.
Advance scheduling is recommended whenever possible, especially for appointments. Same-day rides may be available depending on driver availability.
Groove Ride serves the Cleveland area and surrounding communities. Service areas may expand as the business grows.
Yes. Riders may bring personal items, groceries, or small bags as long as they can be safely transported in the vehicle.
Basic door-to-door assistance may be available, but riders should be able to safely enter and exit the vehicle or have caregiver support if needed.
At launch, wheelchair-accessible transportation is unavailable. Please contact Groove Ride directly to discuss mobility needs before scheduling.
